For UK or imported PSPs. If your PSP backlight has stopped functioning, it could need replacing. All you have to do is to send us your PSP to us and we will replace the faulty unit. Our service will ensure that your PSP is fixed within 3 working days. We can fix the problem for much LESS than the factory charges for a similar repair.

We can eliminate the following problems:

  • Flickering or broken backlight.

Our price includes:

  • Repair and despatch within 3 working days of receipt.
  • Labour to install the backlight.
  • Replacement backlight.
  • 90 day warrantee on parts and labour.

Please note the following important conditions of this service:

  • Once we open your PSP, your warrantee will be automatically made VOID. So please ensure that it is the screen that is the problem and that you are happy for us to void your warrantee.
  • If it turns out that there is more wrong with your PSP then just your backlight, then you will be contacted and given the option to have your PSP returned to you. You will get a full refund minus the cost of postage and packaging.
  • You are responsible for the transit of your PSP to our premises. We can not be held responsible for any items lost in the post on the way to our premises.
  • We will insure all PSPs that leave our premises for their full value, and in the event of postal problems you will be covered. Lost items will result in us following Royal Mails lost post procedure.
  • Our repairs and parts are guaranteed for 90 days. If after receiving your repaired PSP during this period, you experience problems that are not deemed to have been caused due to physical damage, you can return your PSP to us for another repair. You will be responsible for postage costs to our premises.
  • In the event that we can not repair your PSP for any reason, you will be contacted for further instructions. You will get a full refund minus the cost of postage and packaging.
  • Please note the we are not official Sony PSP repair agents, but we do offer our own guarantees, so please be assured that your satisfaction is our priority.

At the same time as sending us your item to repair, why not send us any faulty or unwanted mobile phones you have tucked away in your drawers (less than 3 years old please). We will give you money off your repair (up to the cost of the repair). Once received, we will get back to you with how much we can discount your repair for, when we have had a chance to look at the phone/s. It's simple, just scavenge round the house and put them in the package!! If you change your mind later, we will just send them back to you for no extra charge.

Priority repair service

Our standard repairs are despatched in 3-4 working days, however if you need an urgent repair, with our premium service we can complete it in 1-2 working days.

Firmware upgrade service

Would you to be able to play backup games from your Memory stick? If so, let us upgrade your PSP firmware to the latest Dark Alex version. Click here to read more about this upgrade. Please note that this upgrade can be performed on all PSPs.

Courier pickup

Your confirmation email will include details of how to send your item to us. If you would like us to pick it up from you instead, select this option and we will arrange for your unit to be collected from your house or office (from the "delivery address" you give us).

Please choose your pickup date from the list below. Dates are available from tomorrow onwards (for repairs booked before 15:00 the previous day). Pick a day when someone will be there between 9 - 6. You can not specify a time.

Please note that if you are not there when the courier driver collects, you may be charged for another collection. Also, once we have booked the courier, you are not able to cancel or request a refund. Note: We are arranging the courier on your behalf. If there is any delay or loss as a result of the courier service, your console may be covered up to a value of £50. We will endeavour to process a claim on your behalf, however we can not compensate you prior to a successful claim.

Serial / IMEI number

Please enter the serial number or IMEI number of your device. You should find this on the back of your device in small writing. If it is an iphone 3G model, you will find this on your original box or in your settings:

Extended warranty

Your current repair comes with a 90 day parts and labour warranty. If you would like to extend this, please select from the list below. This shows the new total warranty period including the original 90 day period. The warranty covers only the fault or modification that we have carried out and not the whole unit, unless you have purchased the complete item from us. The warranty does not cover any physical damage. If we can not fix your item and have to process a refund, the warranty cost will not be refunded.

Do you need us to send you packaging?

If you have not selected a courier, we could post you some return packaging. You will need to post your console back to us in that packaging, add stamps as necessary and post to us by which ever method you choose. You are responsible for all items sent to us in the post and any loss is your responsibility.
